Architecture Sarasota believes design holds the power to transform communities and reimagine a better future for all. Their mission is to steward the legacy of the Sarasota School of Architecture and provide a forum for the education, advocacy, and celebration of good design in the global built environment. 

To bring this mission to life, they collaborate closely with public agencies, private partners, and creative minds both locally and globally. Together, they research the region’s environment and explore innovative ideas and forward-thinking approaches to designing and adapting the places and spaces where Sarasotans live, work, and play. Through engaging programs and products, such as lectures, guided tours, exhibitions, and publications, Architecture Sarasota invites people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the impact of good design.

Every November, they host Sarasota MOD Weekend—a lively celebration of Sarasota’s iconic architectural heritage and the enduring spirit of the Sarasota School of Architecture.
