All Eyes on a New Speaker Series

Sarasotans have always had to wait until December for the PINC Experience—until now.

PINC Experience in collaboration with Sarasota Magazine Content Studio August 27, 2025

One of Sarasota’s favorite days, the annual PINC Experience draws over 450 curious individuals every December to hear speakers from around the world, enjoy surprising intermezzo performances, and have their perceptions challenged on topics intersecting People, Ideas, Nature, and Community.

Dubbed “a bubble bath for your brain,” it’s a once-a-year experience that many Sarasotans eagerly await to come around again. But now, PINC lovers are getting a monthly treat.

Starting in September 2025, PINC Local will be a new monthly series by the same team that delivers the flagship PINC Experience each year, but with a local twist.

Each month, the series will feature 3 to 4 speakers from different walks of life, across many disciplines, and with diverse perspectives. Their one common thread: through their experiences, ideas or actions, in ways both big and small, they’re shaping Sarasota.

In the style of the flagship PINC experience, the local stories and talks are designed to challenge assumptions, stir emotions, and open space for deeper conversation, with a promise to the audience that they’ll leave each evening knowing, seeing, and belonging to Sarasota more deeply.

Join the conversation at various dates throughout the year as Sarasotans gather to explore the shifting landscape across People, Ideas, Nature & Community.

The first gathering takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 5:00PM at the Sarasota Art Museum. Tickets are on sale now for $20
