Jessica Johnston, Lead Sexual Assault Advocate at Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC), has spent over six years transforming trauma into hope for survivors in our community. As a tireless force in sexual violence advocacy, she empowers survivors and champions trauma-informed care, ensuring that those who seek services receive compassionate, healing-centered support.
Johnston collaborates closely with law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and legal experts to strengthen Sarasota’s survivor-centered response. Her commitment to removing barriers ensures equitable access to resources for all survivors. Staying at the forefront of local efforts to combat online
exploitation, Johnston also addresses new challenges presented by technology.
