A Fort Lauderdale native, Dr. Brian Derby earned his medical degree in Tampa before completing six years of rigorous plastic surgery residency training in Illinois. He went on to pursue two additional years of elective cosmetic fellowship training under the guidance of world-renowned surgeons.

In 2015, Dr. Derby returned to his home state to join Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center as a partner. He is recognized for his expertise in advanced techniques for eyelid and facelift surgery, as well as breast and abdominal contouring. His artistic approach and deep understanding of facial and body aesthetics allow him to deliver natural-looking, transformative results.

Dr. Derby specializes in breast augmentation, lifting, and implant selection—including “gummy bear” implants—known for their natural feel and shape. His goal is always to create results that are refined, harmonious, and beautifully individualized.

He is also known for his exceptional body contouring procedures, including mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, arm lifts, liposuction, and labiaplasty—empowering patients to restore their confidence and embrace life with a renewed sense of self.
