As the official State Art Museum of Florida, part of Florida State University, and the largest university-affiliated museum in North America, The Ringling is a powerful and inspiring symbol of Sarasota’s and Florida’s cultural heritage and an essential part of its future.
Featuring artwork spanning antiquity to today, The Museum of Art focuses on Renaissance, Baroque, Asian, and contemporary art, photography, and studio glass. The Ringling also encompasses Ca’d’Zan, John and Mable’s winter home built during the Roaring Twenties; an exhilarating Circus Museum; a playground nestled within 66 acres of breathtaking bayfront gardens; and exhibitions and performances that bring globally renowned artists and works to Sarasota.
Your support allows our outreach programs to continue to engage local children and families in meaningful learning opportunities, building new and diverse audiences and growing our impact, and grants you access to behind-the-scenes opportunities like expert-led tours, curator-led talks, and conversations with living artists.
Help us steward the Ringlings’ legacy of providing visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience by bringing the past and contemporary culture to life.
