Birds are everywhere, so its easy to take them for granted. But scientists tell us that North America has lost 30% of our bird population in just the last 50 years. Nearly every species is in decline, due primarily to human impact: loss of habitat, car and boat strikes, fishing line and lures, rodenticide poisoning, domestic cat attacks, and more.

• Save Our Seabirds rescues and rehabilitates injured birds, then releases them back into the wild.

• Our veterinarian and staff treat sick and injured birds in our specialized Avian Hospital.

• We operate a Wild Bird Learning Center featuring 100+ non-releasable birds.

• The Learning Center is FREE to the public and open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM.

• We rely on an army of volunteers and generous donors to fulfill our mission.
