Throughout May, Bookstore1Sarasota will host a series of in-person interviews with Sarasota public figures and decision-makers. The public is invited to participate in the discussions; the one-hour events will be held in Bookstore1Sarsota's loft and are free, but registration is required due to limited seating.

May 5: Carrie Seidman, opinion columnist and podcaster

May 9: Erik Arroyo, city commissioner and current City of Sarasota mayor

May 11: Renée James Gilmore, TV producer at ABC7

May 12: Steven Cover, City of Sarasota planning director

May 16: Ron Turner, Sarasota County supervisor of elections

May 17: Fredrick J. Piccolo, president and CEO of Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport

May 24: Marlon Brown, City of Sarasota manager
