The Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society is celebrating its final exhibit of the season with a spring online exhibition. The exhibit features 90 paintings, including three top contest winners and other awards and honorable mentions. Pieces were curated by juror Iliya Mirochnik, an artist and teacher at New Masters Academy and Ringling College of Art & Design. Most pieces are for sale and can be viewed on the society's website until Saturday, May 15.

First prize ($500) also known as the Joanna & Frank Warber Award, was given to Stuart Cantor for his calming piece, Reflection Pool. Second prize ($400) went to Evie Peck for her reptile-inspired piece, No Natural Enemies. Third prize ($300) went to Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society president Jenny Medved for her piece, Roots. The Excellency in Transparent Watercolor Award ($250) was given to Lakewood Ranch artist William Perry for his portrait titled At the James.

Merit awards of $100 each were given to Suzanna Span for Washboard Willie at the Cat, Jacquie Clark for Hooch and Augusto Argandona for After the Rain. Honorable mentions were given to Helen Burkett, Kris Parins and Linda Sanders.
