Warby Parker, the eyewear company beloved by hipsters everywhere and known for its affordable prescription specs, will open a new store in Sarasota at the Mall at University Town Center on Saturday, March 20.

The new store will carry the brand's full range of optical and sun eyewear, which come in a range of lens types—from blue light filtering to progressive and light-responsive—as well as the brand's daily contact lens range. Eye exams will also be available at this location after the grand opening.

To celebrate the Sarasota location, shoppers will receive a special-edition "Keys, Wallet, Sunglasses" pouch with all sunglasses purchases, while supplies last, beginning on March 20.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Warby Parker has also implemented safety protocols that include one-on-one guided shopping, limited capacity, contactless checkout and enhanced sanitation.

The Warby Parker store at the Mall at Univeristy Town Center opens next Saturday, March 20. Daily hours will be Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, noon-6 p.m. For more information, visit warbyparker.com.
