Rue Moves to Main Street, Apricot Lane Opens on St. Armands Circle and More Fashion News

Here's what's new and notable on the Sarasota fashion scene.

Rue is moving to the former Encore Consignment space at 1439 Main Street, across from the Kress building. To celebrate, the store is offering 30-75 percent off brands such as Sea NY, Charles Youssef, Needle & Thread, Clu, and Alice McCall. Accessories, jewelry, and handbags are 40 percent off. Rue's last day of business on Palm Avenue is Saturday, June 25. 
 
Also new to the Sarasota area is A'GACI, which offers affordable, H&M-style looks for work and play that don't break the bank. The store is located found in the Macy's wing of Sarasota Square Mall. 8201 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota (941) 203-8758
 
Brand new to St. Armands Circle is Apricot Lane Boutique, which sells  formalwear, everyday-wear and activewear and accessories. Coming soon to Sarasota Square Mall is Torrid, which focuses on fashion for women sizes 10-30 with formalwear, activewear and everything in between. For more information, visit torrid.com.
