Local designer Cami Leavitt has opened a new showroom for her Camilyn Beth clothing line on Palm Avenue in downtown Sarasota. Leavitt and her team previously worked out of an upstairs studio in the historic MiraMar building, but says that they jumped at the chance to relocate when the ground floor retail space in the same building became available. Leavitt, whose line is made up of classic, feminine dresses and separates, plus a made-to-order bridal and gown collection, is currently offering shopping by appointment to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19; she says she hopes to celebrate the new space with a grand opening party later this year.
