Athleta, maker of athletic- and athleisure-wear, will open its first store in Sarasota at The Mall at University Town Center on Tuesday, June 29. The new store will be approximately 3,600 square feet in dedicated retail space. As part of the grand opening, customers can receive special discounts and free class passes from local studios and fitness centers including Yoga Barre, Barre 3, Row House UTC, Pineapple Yoga and Cycle Bar and Lush.

The new store includes a hub-style cash wrap area, a concierge table in the fitting rooms for those trying on clothes, and a dedicated “At Your Service” desk for buy online, pick up in store orders.
