The double-walled insulated cup was invented in Detroit 70 years ago but has been produced in Southwest Florida and sold out of the original factory store in Osprey since the ’60s. Well nigh indestructible, the cup is the ideal sipping device for beverages hot, cold and every temperature in between.

Tervis has offered its Made for Life guarantee since the company’s founding in 1946. Customers with cracked or otherwise damaged cups can return them and get a replacement.  

Like the cup, the lid is made of BPA-free plastics.

The tumblers are microwave- and dishwasher-safe, although today’s phosphate-free dishwashing soaps can cause them to  become clouded. The company recommends occasional cleaning with baking soda.

Customers can choose from some 8,731 wrap designs. The Cherry Blossom is the No. 1 seller.
