The Manatee County Planning Commission on Thursday approved plans for a 34,000-square-foot movie theater and 22,800 square feet of additional commercial space set to be built on 7.3 acres of land near the Ellenton Premium Outlets mall. The theater project was proposed by I.M.G. Enterprises, Inc. and OM Cinemas and would be constructed at 5939 25th St. E., Ellenton. The property is currently used as a palm tree nursery. The proposal will next be discussed by the Manatee County Commission.
