Philanthropist and tennis enthusiast Elizabeth Moore has agreed to provide additional prize money, increasing the total to $175,000. The hope is to make the event much larger.
Next month, five City of Sarasota parks and recreation facilities now maintained by Sarasota County through an inter-local agreement will return to the city.
