The Sarasota Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center recently received a five-star rating from the federal government's Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
When it reaches full capacity in year three, the program will enroll 39 residents and by 2020 begin producing 13 new internal medicine physicians each year.
