Nick DeVito II, a realtor with Ian Black Real Estate, has been elected to serve as chapter admissions chair for the Florida chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). DeVito is a partner at Sarasota-based commercial real estate firm Ian Black Real Estate. SIOR certifies commercial real estate service providers with its SIOR designation and counts 3,400 members in 42 countries. The Florida chapter includes over 220 members. To achieve the SIOR designation, candidates must have completed at least five years of creditable experience in industrial and office real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability and ethical conduct. DeVito will serve a one-year term as an officer of the Florida chapter; he earned SIOR designation in 2018.
