We have a wealth of arts and culture in Sarasota, but sometimes you just want to get out of town and explore. We opened Google maps, gassed up the car and visited some of Florida’s art museums, those comfortably within a day trip status—allowing time to arrive, study the galleries, enjoy lunch and perhaps some shopping, and return home again in just one day.
