Since welcoming its first residents in 2018, Babcock Ranch has experienced rapid growth, being named for the first time this summer to the RCLCO Real Estate Advisors’ Top 50 list of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities. (It ranks 39th.)

The fledgling community is attracting new residents—some 1,400 to date out of an anticipated 50,000 at build-out a couple of decades down the road—to its bold promise of environmental stewardship and high-technology as well as its serene location in the middle of nature.

Currently, nine national and regional homebuilders are at work in phase one, which consists of seven neighborhoods centered around expansive Lake Babcock, the 18-hole Babcock National golf course and Founder’s Square, a town center with a general store, café, lakeside bandshell and boardwalk, children’s splash pad and a health center.

Let’s take a closer look.
