Sarasota Builders Won Big at This Year’s National Association of Home Builders Awards

Nautilus Custom Homes, Perrone Construction and Trinity Custom Homes stood out from the competition, taking home a total of ten awards.

Sarasota based builders made out like Anora at the Academy Awards at this year's National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) awards ceremony. Nautilus Custom Homes received six awards for craftsmanship and design in a recently completed Cherokee Park home called Watersound as well as its En Pointe condos on Golden Gate Point. Perrone Construction received four awards for a sprawling home named The Cascade House. And Trinity Custom Homes took home three awards for three different homes, including one called Lido Rose.

The accolades were presented at the NAHB National Awards and the Best in American Living Awards (BALA) during the recent International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas. The awards honor industry professionals for homes and communities across the United States and Canada. There were roughly 150 finalists this year.

Nautilus Homes won a Silver Award for "Best One-of-a-Kind Custom Home" in the 5,001-square-foot to 6,000-square-foot category, as well as a Silver Award for "Best Kitchen in a Custom Home Priced Over $2 Million." The same award also went to Trinity Custom Homes.

Perrone Construction received a Silver Award for "Best One-of-a-Kind Custom Home Over 10,000 Square Feet" and another for "Best Kitchen in a Custom Home Under $1 Million." Silver Awards for "Best Primary Suite in a Custom Home" were awarded to both Perrone Construction and Trinity Custom Homes.

Trinity Custom Homes also received a Silver Award in the "Remodeling: Specialty Project" category for a custom wine room, pictured below.

"Best Outdoor Room/Living Space" awards went to both Perrone Construction and Nautilus Homes. Nautilus Homes also received a Silver Award for "Best Interiors of a Custom Home," with interiors by Ellen Hanson Designs, and a Silver Award for "Best One-of-a-Kind Custom or Spec Home."

Additionally, Nautilus Homes won a Silver Award for "Multifamily Built for Sale/Condo" for its En Pointe project on Golden Gate Point,

Nautilus Custom Homes is no stranger to the accolades. Last year it received five awards from the National Association of Home Builders for craftsmanship and design for a Siesta Key residence called Island Breeze.
