Nothing says friendship like sharing a pot of bubbling cheese, and the Melting Pot, the fondue restaurant chain with a location in downtown Sarasota, recently debuted a new menu intended to entice you and a buddy into doing just that.

The restaurant's "BFFF" ("Best Fondue Friends Forever") menu is offered every Wednesday (or "Wednesday Friends Day"). You can choose between a three-course meal that includes cheese fondue, a salad and chocolate fondue, and a four-course option that also includes an entrée from the restaurant's à la carte menu.

To dip, you can use prosciutto, sausage, multiple types of bread and vegetables and fruits. The three-course meal costs $24.95 per person, and the price of the four-course dinner is $34.95.

Melting Pot is located at 1949 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, and is open 5-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 5-10 p.m. Friday, 4-10 p.m. Saturday and 3-9 p.m. Sunday. For more info, call (941) 365-2628 or visit the restaurant's website.
