The Bijou Cafe in downtown Sarasota has been closed since July because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the restaurant has finally announced plans to reopen. The Bijou, which has an extremely loyal local following, will be back in business starting next Tuesday, Nov. 10.

The restaurant will reopen with limited seating to allow tables to be set at a safe distance from one another. It will also offer online ordering and curbside pickup options, with family-style meals and wine discounts, as well. The restaurant, which is located at 1287 First St., Sarasota, will be open 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. To make a reservation, call (941) 366-8111 or use the restaurant's online reservation system.
