The Sunshine from Darkness gala returned this year, to the Ritz, with guest speakers Steve Ford (son of former president Gerald Ford) and former baseball player Darryl Strawberry, talking about recovery from addiction. Hundreds attended; proceeds go to First Step Sarasota and the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
