Poodle skirts, leather jackets, saddle oxfords--yep, they were all dragged out of the closet (or purchased online) for Asolo Rep's sock hop-themed gala at NBP. Guests mingled at the "1950s Diner" or just at their socially distanced tables while being served cocktails, dinner and milkshakes. Meanwhile, the 1950s band Chrome '57 and singer-actress Ana Isabelle provided live music, and a quick live auction and paddle raise drew lots of action from the crowd. Plus, a "drive-in movie" showcasing some great moments from Asolo Rep's recent musical productions brought back lots of memories. Gala chairs were Mary Braxton-Joseph, Tammy Karp, Donna Koffman and Elisabeth Waters.
