Treat mom to this perennially popular Mother's Day Brunch at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. A buffet will be provided by Michael’s On East and guests can enjoy the beautiful garden backdrop as well as views of Sarasota Bay. Seating is available at half-hour intervals between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; brunch purchase is accompanied by admission to the gardens for the day. Reservations required.

Tea at the Powel Crosley Estate

Take Mom to Powel Crosley Estate's annual Mother's Day tea party, featuring brunch at the Crosley Estate. There's two seatings at 10:30 a.m.and 12:30 p.m., and the menu will include an assortment of dishes, including quiches, blintzes, tea sandwiches, mini desserts and a seafood station, as well as desserts including scones, sweet tea breads and macaroons. There's a cash bar as well as live jazz, croquet and indoor or outdoor seating. Adults $44, children 2 to 10 $27; children 2 and under, free. Reservations required.

Brunch at The Seafood Shack

The Seafood Shack's Mother's Day brunch featuers a casual menu of breakfast, salad, entrée and bakery items including buttermilk pancakes, ambrosia fruit salad, fried chicken and waffles, ham, Gulf shrimp alfredo, snow crab legs, bagels with smoked salmon, a made-to-order omelet station and more.  Professional photographer Mark Sickles will be on-hand for complimentary family portraits; there will also be a raffle with a prize valued at $100. Brunch is $34.95 for adults and $14.95 for kids ages 5-12.
