Sarasota County has announced that Ted Sperling Park at South Lido Beach is now open to the public after extensive recovery efforts took place following last year's catastrophic hurricanes. 

The park sustained significant storm impacts and was also used to help manage storm debris from the Lido Key community. Now, after restoration work by Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources staff, volunteers and hurricane recovery contractors, it’s ready to welcome visitors again.

In Sarasota County, Caspersen Beach Park, Siesta Key Beach Access No. 1 and Turtle Beach campground are still closed following the storms. 

Ted Sperling Park is located at 190 Taft Drive, Sarasota.
