Who says you need to be in a relationship to celebrate Valentine’s Day? This year, forget the coupled-up romance and spend a day with the fabulous friends in your life.

A custom frame made at Gypsea Soul

On Monday, Feb. 14, join Bradenton's Salt & Pepper Cafe and Gypsea Soul for a special Galentine’s Day brunch and resin workshop. Starting at 10 a.m., attendees can dine on a late-morning meal of a mimosas and eggs Benedict or a strawberry and chocolate crêpe at Salt & Pepper Cafe and craft a handmade keepsake—a resin-based frame to house a photo of you and your bestie—at Gypsea Soul. The two businesses are neighbors—literally right next door to each other—making the switch between activities a breeze.

Reservations for the Galentine’s Day event are being accepted now through Sunday.

Sound like a fun activity for a couple, too? You're right: Gypsea Soul and Salt & Pepper Cafe will also be hosting a Sweetheart art & Valentine's Day Dinner, where couples can create a beachy keepsake and enjoy a romantic four-course meal.

Gypsea Soul is located at 615 15th St. W., Bradenton. Salt & Pepper Cafe is located at 608 14th St. W., Bradenton. To make a reservation for either event, visit Gypsea Soul’s website or call the studio at (941) 896-3156. After reserving your spot, be sure to send the photo you would like to use for the project to [email protected].
