Bradenton Blues Festival Announces 2016 Line-Up
Bradenton’s Riverwalk may not be grooving to the blues until December, but the Bradenton Blues Festival has already announced its line-up for the all-day blues event, Dec. 3.
The festival has grown more popular each year since its inception in 2012, thanks to both its musicians and its beautiful setting along the Manatee River. The food vendors and local craft beers available for purchase don’t hurt, either.
This year’s fest kicks off with a free concert, Dec. 2, featuring Ari and the Alibis and the Damon Fowler Group, and a blues brunch Dec. 4 featuring music from Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones wraps the weekend up. But here’s the schedule for the main blues blast.
Slam Allen Band, 11 a.m.-noon
Sugar Ray and the Blue Tones, 12:15-1:15 p.m.
Larry McCray, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Jason Ricci, 2:45-3:45 p.m.
Victor Wainwright & the WildRoots, 4-5 p.m.
The Golden State/Lone Star Revue, 5:15-6:30 p.m.
Headliner Ronnie Baker Brooks, 6:45-8 p.m.
In addition, Ilana Katz Katz plays all day between sets.
