Laura Gilbert was recently named the interim president and CEO of The Sarasota YMCA. A 19-year employee, Gilbert was previously the vice president for operations at the YMCA's Evalyn Sadler Branch. The announcement comes four months after former president and CEO Kurt Stringfellow resigned. Gilbert is tasked with guiding YMCA operations and developing an internal fundraising effort.
