MISSION: We manage and promote Nathan Benderson Park by providing recreational opportunities and facilities for people to enjoy and engage in activities that promote health and enhance the quality of life and environment, and to generate economic impact for our region.

We like to say you can’t spell “No Better Place” without the letters NBP. There’s no better place to exercise, make friends, relax or make a difference. Youth programs including summer camps and school-day-out minicamps teach skills, foster friendships and socialization, and make lifetime memories—on and off the water. For adults, there’s rowing, paddling outrigger canoes and dragon boats, teambuilding, yoga, ChiWalking, fitness classes, volunteering and more. For everyone, there’s running, walking, fishing, recreational kayaking/canoeing, a host of community events as well as local, state, national and international sports events, and a chance to find yourself, connect, disconnect and enjoy nature, fresh air and open space. Your generosity ensures people can participate in our programs, and that those programs can serve many more.
