The V Foundation for Cancer Research and ESPN Hall of Fame sportscaster Dick Vitale raised more than $4.3 million for pediatric cancer research at the 14^th Annual Dick Vitale Gala. Held at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, the sparkly, star-studded gala hosted hundreds of supporters and celebrities to raise money for groundbreaking advancements in childhood cancer research while also celebrating 2019's year’s gala honorees: ESPN broadcaster Chris Fowler, former NBA and college head coach and NBA championship player Avery Johnson, and Clemson University football head coach Dabo Swinney.
