As Sarasota's Hub moves to its new location, its former home, 1680 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, has officially transitioned to its new identity: Bold. The building was purchased by entrepreneur Jesse Biter in 2011 and housed the Hub, which was founded by Rich Swier Jr. in 2009, until just recently. The Hub's new location is at Palm Tower, 1343 Main St., Sarasota. According to a press release, Bold is currently home to over 60 businesses and also offers a membership program for individuals who want to share the building's amenities, but don’t need a private office of their own. The Hub, meanwhile, has been home to over 150 entrepreneurs and 50 startups over the past few years, according to a press release.
