Local designer Camilyn Beth Leavitt is adding something new to her spring/summer 2017:  separates. Leavitt's eponymous line, which is known for its modern, feminine designs, will now feature pants, skirts and tops in addition to its collection of cocktail dresses. "The spring/summer '17 collection is full of little white dresses, ruffle details and pops of color," Leavitt says. 

Leavitt launched her line in 2012, and since then, her star has been steadily rising. Her designs, which are priced between $175 and $375, have been featured on big-name fashion blogs, worn on celebrities and ordered by boutiques across the country and in Canada. Her studio is located in downtown Sarasota on Palm Avenue.
