The Florida Department of Transportation recently began construction on an overhaul of the interchange at Clark Road and I-75, a project that will include the construction of a new diverging diamond traffic pattern similar to the one at University Parkway and I-75.

Construction began Monday. In addition to the diverging diamond pattern, the project will include widening the interstate for extra lanes, noise walls, bike lanes, sidewalks and a resurfacing of Clark Road. The $62.4 million project should be completed by fall 2023, according to the department.
