Centerstone administrative and clinical risk manager Angela Dunbar was recently recognized by the Florida Behavioral Health Association with its Behavioral Health Pandemic Hero Award. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dunbar was responsible for ordering and distributing all of the treatment center's PPE—delivering more than 100,000 masks, face shields and gowns to the center's 700 staff members. Dunbar also took the lead in acquiring resources like hand sanitizer and Covid testing kits for the center. Centerstone is a nonprofit health system that provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment in Bradenton.
