On Wednesday, August 5, from noon-1 p.m., Partners for Green Places will engage with small businesses and nonprofit organizations about how to save money and take climate action at the same time. During the free, one-hour webinar participants will hear from local business owners, nonprofits, and sustainability experts to learn about Partners for Green Places' community-wide movement, and how investing in sustainability can provide significant savings and drive the community toward a greener future.

The cross-sector panel will cover lessons learned, savings seen, and progress from a nonprofit that invested in energy and water efficiency improvements at their facilities; potential financial savings from sustainability measures; sustainability measures with the greatest potential for immediate cost savings; financing and fundraising options; demand vs non-demand utility customers and how that affects your saving opportunities; the Partners for Green Places community-wide initiative; and more.
