Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner today announced that public access to his three offices in Sarasota, North Port and Venice has been suspended immediately and until further notice in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In the meantime, residents can go to www.sarasotavotes.com for services including new voter registration, updates to address, signature or party affiliation, and vote-by-mail ballot requests. Secure drop boxes are also available at both the Sarasota and Venice offices, at which the public can drop voter registration applications and vote-by-mail ballot requests, and candidates may drop off petitions or other election-related paperwork.
