Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s annual gala has been one of the most glamorous black-tie events of the season, and the 2020 Hospital Gala on Saturday night at the Ritz-Carlton didn’t disappoint. The color scheme was lavender, the table settings and flowers were exquisite, and the eye candy—all the women in their gorgeous gowns and men in their crisp tuxes kicking up their heels on the dance floor to the big band sound of Dale Head and the MindWinder Orchestra—made the evening one of the season’s most enjoyable as well. More importantly, the evening raised more than $1 million to support Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s cancer services, specifically patient care, and will make a difference for thousands of cancer fighters and their families.
