Olivia Trader, a member of the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, headquartered in Sarasota, will be featured nationally on Girl Scout cookie boxes during the 2020 "cookie season." Trader was one of six national winners in Girl Scouts of the USA’s 2018 Girl Scout CookiePro contest, in which Girl Scouts from across the country submitted their “cookie pro résumés,” highlighting the skills they've learned, memorable customer experiences, and tips and tricks for reaching their program sales goals. Each of the winners participated in a photo shoot and will be highlighted on new Girl Scout cookie packaging, which features scouts taking part in a diverse range of experiences, such as camping and canoeing, exploring space science and taking action to improve their communities. (Trader will be featured playing guitar on the Tagalongs cookie box.) And for those of you in the market for cookies, heads up: This year, local Girl Scouts will also be offering a new variety, Lemon-Ups, a crispy lemon cookie that will replace Savannah Smiles.
