The 2018 Siesta Key Crystal Classic will showcase 24 master sand sculptors who have traveled from all over the world to compete for the title of best sand sculptor in the world on Siesta Key Beach. This year, the festival will feature both a doubles and new solo competition, resulting in four additional sculptures.

During the four-day event, sculptors will have 24 hours to create sand masterpieces that will transform the beautiful white sand of Siesta Beach into an outdoor art gallery.

Locals and tourists can enjoy the festival Saturday and Sunday night until 9 p.m. while jamming out to live music by Reverend Barry & the Funk Saturday night and No Filter on Sunday night. Popular activities include the three-day "Quick Sand” competition, sand-sculpting lessons and an amateur sculpting competition. And of course, the beach is a short walk away from shopping and restaurants in Siesta Key Village.

In 2017, the festival welcomed more than 60,000 attendees and brought in $9 million in economic impact from tourists.
