Sarasota's Shine Hair Design Studio is celebrating its one-year anniversary with an all-day open house and client appreciation event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The studio—owned by Mamie Katsarelas and David Michael Greb—will offer appetizers and refreshments, free product samples and discounts on hair products. Since opening, the salon has added two new team members, bringing its total number of employees to 14, including 11 hair professionals, an esthetician and two nail technicians. Shine Hair Design Studio is located at 4141 S.
