Panel Discussion Focused on Bayfront Design Possibilities

The Center for Architecture Sarasota is hosting a panel discussion about plans for Sarasota's bayfront from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, timed to coincide with an exhibit showcasing different visions created by University of Florida CityLab Sarasota graduate architecture students. Participants will show examples of work and discuss the potential of architecture and landscape drawn from both urban design and ecology. Panelists include Chris Reed, the founding director of Stoss Landscape Urbanism in Boston; Stephen Luoni, the director of the University of Arkansas Community Design Center; Andrew Georgiadis, the president of Georgiadis Urban Design; and Todd Sweet, who founded the firm now known as Sweet Sparkman Architects. Tickets to the panel discussion are $15.
