Developer and entrepreneur Henry Rodriguez purchased the Elephant Ears Suites located at 1800 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota, from Jonathon and Michael Jones for $1.9 million on Monday. The hotel complex contains three buildings and 21 units. Rodriguez plans to remodel the complex into a four star hotel, similar to some of his other investments, including the Nokomis Inn & Suites. Eric Massey and Ben Graham of Michael Saunders & Company handled the transaction.
