Baltimore Orioles Announce Blood Drives

Generally healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood.

In partnership with OneBlood, the Baltimore Orioles will be holding a series of blood drives at Ed Smith Stadium. Blood donors receive a $10 e-gift card, a OneBlood T-shirt and a wellness checkup including a COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, pulse, temperature and iron count screening, plus a cholesterol screening.

Generally healthy people age 16 or older who weigh at least 110 pounds can donate blood. Photo ID is required. Mask-wearing is required and social distancing protocols will be in place. The dates for the blood drives are Tuesday, March 2, from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Friday, March 12, from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, March 17, from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. To make an appointment go to www.givelife.io/orioles, text “BIRD” to 63928 or call (888) 9-DONATE.
