Celia Marchese of the Child Protection Center therapy team was recently awarded two licenses. Marchese is now a licensed mental health counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She will celebrate six years with the center this month and completed all of her licensure hours at the agency. The center is committed to the prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse in Sarasota and DeSoto counties. During its most recent fiscal year, the center provided over 3,600 individual, group and family counseling sessions to child abuse survivors and their families.
