Kahwa Coffee Roasters, a St. Pete-based coffee shop chain with multiple locations in the Sarasota area, is pouring free small coffees for all medical professionals and first responders. Kahwa co-owner Sarah Perrier says the offer is a way to say, "Thank you," to health care workers who are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Our hearts go out to all individuals on the front line fighting this pandemic,” Perrier said, according to a press release. "Our driving force is the love we have for our community and we want to show our appreciation to those on the front line that are risking their health to ensure we all stay safe."
