Sarasota Orchestra Masterworks with Sarah Chang

Jan. 30-Feb. 2

We don’t toss around the accolade “superstar” lightly, but it definitely applies to violinist Sarah Chang, who makes her Sarasota Orchestra debut this weekend with a performance of Dvořák’s romantic Violin Concerto. Four performances, Thursday at Neel PAC in Bradenton and Friday-Sunday at the Van Wezel in Sarasota.

Sarasota Ballet: Redefined Movement

Jan. 31-Feb. 3

Three very different works—Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Rendezvous, the company premiere of Paul Taylor’s Brandenburgs, and Dominic Walsh’s I Napoletani—are on the program when the ballet troupe returns to the FSU Center, with an extra Sunday performance added due to popular demand.

"Dance Makers"
