The 25th annual Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse, scheduled to run through April 12, has closed its doors. Sixteen area interior designers had decorated a classic Florida Craftsman cottage at 1657 Alta Vista St. in Sarasota's Bungalow Hill neighborhood, and opened it to the public March 15. Attendance was sparse, and concerns over COVID-19 caused the closure.  The annual designer showhouse is a benefit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.
