Mission: Strengthen children and families by improving the quality of their lives through a comprehensive approach to development, education, health, and well-being.
IN THE TOP 1 PERCENT out of over 1,800 Head Start and Early Head Start providers in the country, Children First strengthens children and families across our community at 14 locations. Services include high-quality early childhood education and care, nutritious meals, health screenings, and support for at-risk families with children ages birth to 5 years old. Additionally, the agency’s Families First Institute offers free courses to parents such as budgeting and career readiness to help families build better lives.
Over 90 percent of families enrolled at Children First live below the Federal Poverty level and receive comprehensive services to achieve self-sufficiency. While there is a waiting list, more than 700 children annually have the opportunity to reach their full potential because of your investment.
