Jackson & Associates General Contractors, Inc., has been proudly maintained by the same governing entities since inception in 1991. The firm has constructed or repaired over 2,000 residential units inclusive of new construction, structural restoration, renovation and hurricane damage repairs. 
They have also successfully completed numerous government contracts with various state and local municipalities. As well, their resume includes an array of commercial projects inclusive of Sarasota Herald-Tribune offices, Holiday Inn, Faith Life Church, Venice Boys & Girls Club, the Landmark Bank building, 1500 State Street and Insignia Bank, along with an extensive list of highly embellished medical facilities. They proudly employ a well-educated and knowledgeable staff of licensed general contractors, a designer, an FAA licensed pilot and LEED APs as well as a host of others, most of whom have enjoyed a long relationship with the firm.
Jackson & Associates is proud to support an array of local charities as well as sponsoring a multitude of children's events, youth athletics, and supporting causes for wounded veterans.

Tom Jackson, president of Jackson & Associates, has been hired by outside developers and owners as a consultant in the development of projects both nationally and internationally. His wife and vice president, Nancee Jackson, graduated from Ringling College with her BFA and is responsible for all of the in-house interior design and space planning.

1991: After Hurricane Andrew, Jackson & team were summoned to Miami and recognized by the Sarasota Herald Tribune’s cover story “Picking up the Pieces,” highlighting efficiencies and integrity in contrast to the failures and pitfalls of others.  

2006: Jackson pioneered a five-story office building, the first in the downtown area to use a tilt-wall construction system. The walls went up literally overnight in downtown Sarasota, and the system is used all over Sarasota now.

2008: Sarasota Golf Club Boulevard constructed by Jackson and wife Nancee. Speculative feature home, combining their skills on construction and design within this 5-plus-acre gated estate.

2017: 1500 State Street, a six-story mixed-use building consisting of 20 residential condominiums and a mix of commercial and office spaces. The footprint for this project was a 48-foot by 100-foot lot, and the construction time was 13 months.

2019: Point of Rocks, an exquisite waterfront estate designed by CMSA Architects, boasting 180-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico. This modern Mediterranean masterpiece stands at over 20,000 square feet, layered with ambient details from foundation through the roof.
